A pictorial record of the work done at Aston Magna recently. Our sincere thanks to all those who were involved in the project. Those behind the scenes dealing with the administration, those in an advisory capacity, to the many who freely gave up their time, those who supplied materials and equipment and members who sent moral support. A special mention to Rob for all his hard work and Stuart for leading and supervising the project.

Impressive job by Craig and Tom from Upright Scaffolding based in Banbury. After supplying the club with scaffold poles to create more permanent fishing platforms the company freely donated their time and resources to build a safe junior coaching platform on the middle lake. This will double up as an easy access peg for the less mobile club members. Cracking job gentlemen!
Sunday 28th March 2021 a work party set about replacing the fishing platforms on the bottom lake. Thanks to Rob, Stuart, Luke, Steve, Peter, Les, Angela and Archie 9 platforms were completed. A permanent steel frame was set into the lake floor and bank to support 2 wooden pallets. Access steps to many repaired and levelled. A few more focused weekends should see the transformation complete!
